Is this the look of love? Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez set tongues wagging again with their play date in Miami today

They've denied reports they are an item.

But teen stars Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez certainly seem to enjoy spending time together.

They laughed and joked together as they walked in Miami today, before realising they had been spotted.

So far there have been denials that the two teens are romantically linked, with Selena herself describing Justin as 'family'.

The pair are both staying in the same plush Miami hotel ahead of Justin's performance tonight at the American Airlines Arena in the Florida area.

According to reports, the twosome quickly scurried back to their hotel when they spotted the paparazzi waiting for them at the beach.

Innocent? The awkwardness between the pair may spell a very different story

They also appeared awkward as they walked side-by-side with Justin scratching his head, and Selena brushing her hair to the side.

After months of rumours running rife that the pair could possibly be together, they were also recently spotted seemingly on a date.

They enjoyed pancakes at American chain restaurant, IHop pancake house in Philadelphia.

This came the morning after they had both been on stage at a live Christmas concert.

Hop, skip and a jump: Justin and Selena scurry away together to hide away from the paparazzi

Speaking to US Weekly, Selena denied any type of romance insisting that they two were more like brother and sister.

'It was pancakes! Oh my gosh! [Justin is] one of my best friends…' she mused.
'Who doesn't like pancakes? We were both performing in the same place so we went and had pancakes together. That's all it is. All innocent.'

Selena also explained her feelings for Justin, describing him as 'family'.

'I love Justin. When he first started to come over from Canada his manager contacted me and he just said that he would like to meet me and he was just such a good kid…' she said.

'I feel like a big sister now, because I want to protect him.'
